LdM Receives 2008 Excellence Award

Lorenzo de’ Medici has been awarded the Languagecourse.net “2008 Excellence Award” for its Italian Language courses. Every year LanguageCourse.Net requests evaluations from more than a thousand language course students worldwide in order to honor language schools which provide outstanding services to their clients. As a result of these evaluations, LanguageCourse.Net presents an annual Excellence Award to those language schools which receive the highest customer satisfaction ratings worldwide. The 2008 Excellence Award not only recognizes the accomplishments of the school with respects to its quality of service but it also provides the opportunity to certify to potential clients the high standards applied in LdM’s Italian Language classes.

Congratulations to the LdM Italian Language Department – Keep up the good work!

IALC’s Newest Member – Lorenzo de’ Medici

Scuola Lorenzo de’ Medici has recently been accepted to the International Association of Language Centres, the only international quality association exclusively for private language schools that teach the language where it is spoken. This is a worldwide renowned accomplishment for educational institutions and promotes the quality and effectiveness of LdM’s language system.

IALC was founded in 1983, headed by the newly elected President Alberto Sampere in Madrid, Spain. IALC’s three main goals have been: To promote cultural and professional exchanges through the study of modern languages in the countries where they are spoken, to represent and convey professionalism and expertise in the teaching of foreign languages, and to protect and maintain worldwide the existence of high quality independent language schools. This organization was a reaction to the increasing interest for studying abroad and more affordable prices for international travel. It began with eight private language schools between Europe and North America, and now has more than 90 members in over 21 countries. IALC provides students with the opportunity to learn in a diverse culture outside the classroom along with accommodating them to make studying abroad an unforgettable experience.

From this new membership, Scuola Lorenzo de’ Medici will be promoted all year long to a wide variety of countries, increasing the cultural diversity within the school and sharing new ideas and values between other members.
