Italian Courses – from 2 weeks to 6 months

Superintensive is a group course consisting of 4 hours a day, from 9am to 12:40pm, Monday through Friday. This course consists of a combination of 16 contact hours of language and 4 hours dedicated to the exploration of Italian culture (cooking, art, wine tasting, and more…).

The appropriate level for each student will be determined by a placement test upon arrival. Absolute beginners start classes on the Monday of the first week of each month (e.g. March 28 for the April session).

This course is offered in seven levels, each of which takes four weeks to completed. Students benefit from the presence of two teachers for the same class.

Intensive is a group course (held in summer only) meets from 1.15 pm to 3.45 pm, Monday through Thursday. There are six levels, each of which takes 4 weeks to be completed. Upon arrival students will take a placement test.

Whenever a student has very specific linguistic objectives or particular time schedule requests, LdM offers individual one-to-one courses tailored to meet each students’ individual needs. LdM also offers the Two-to-One Semi-individual course for students with same level of Italian language knowledge requested.

Students can customize their own schedule, choose the amount of weekly hours they want to do, according to their specific needs (minimum 5 hrs., maximum 40 hrs.).

Upon request, schedules can be organized to include art history visits and lunches with the teachers (additional costs for this last option). In case students already have sufficient confidence with Italian Language,
they can also request individual lessons focused on their professional field.

These courses are made up of both group and one-to-one individual lessons.

In addition to the above-mentioned courses, students who prefer taking classes in addition to the group class can integrate one extra individual class with an Italian professor per day for 1 week (5 hrs. total).
